When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Poster I did for my college. There were other variations of this for different size and applications. A postcard, a handbill, and the program cover.
The mouth I comissioned, done by Heather Cool. Everything else I did in Photoshop. I don't know what gave me the idea. I was sitting at a coffe shop brainstorming and at a loss of how I was going to approach this problem. Then the image of an opera singer's gaping mouth popped into my mind. And I went from there. Can't say that it's anything even close to typical for this opera. I saw some nice solutions when googling, but I'm not a painter and the classical era is tough for me. I'd do this differently a second time around. Slightly or immensely. |
